NHL broadcaster Dave Strader passes away after battle with cancer

Dallas Stars play-by-play broadcaster Dave “The Voice” Strader has passed away after a battle with bile duct cancer; he was 62 years old. Strader had been the play-by-play voice of the Phoenix Coyotes, Florida Panthers, and Detroit Red Wings throughout his career and had also called games for ESPN and NBC.
